Host Claire Ibarra! Claire Ibarra received her MFA in creative writing from Florida International University. Most recently, her poetry and fiction have appeared in Origins, Eleven Eleven, The Tishman Review, Flash Frontier, and Boston Accent Lit. Claire’s poetry chapbook is Vortex of Our Affections (Finishing Line Press, 2017). She lives and teaches in Denver, Colorado.
Featuring Brian Dickson! Brian Dickson was born in the land of Pancho’s and Chico’s Tacos where it took years to shed the nickname Flaco until he discovered smothered burritos and shifted from crispy tacos, and tortilla hamburgers. He is in constant search of smothered burritos with better chile than the Christmas mix in New Mexico.
Featuring Trent Hudley! Trent Hudley is the author of the book One of These Days, a collection of short stories. He teaches in the Creative Writing M.A. Program at Regis University; he also teaches at Metropolitan State University, and the Community College of Denver. He earned his B.A. from Metropolitan State University and his M.F.A. from the University of Texas at El Paso. He was raised in Denver, Colorado and before he entered the world of academia he held a multitude of positions including working in the Denver Post Sports Room, janitor, kitchen manager, painter, cashier and a multitude of other similar jobs. He still lives in Denver in the company of his friends, family.
