August 18 F-Bomb, Hosted by Nancy Stohlman & Featuring Zack Kopp and SETH

The F-Bomb Reading Series returns on August 18 at 7:30 PM MST, hosted by Nancy Stohlman and featuring Zack Kopp and SETH. Plus, 4-minute open mic spots for anyone who wants to share their flash fiction. More details will be posted as we get closer to the event, so check back for Zoom information and the theme of the reading.

Nancy Stohlman is the author of four books of flash fiction including Madam Velvet’s Cabaret of Oddities (a finalist for a 2019 Colorado Book Award), The Vixen Scream and Other Bible Stories (2014), and The Monster Opera (2013). She is the creator of The Fbomb Flash Fiction Reading Series and FlashNano in November. Her work has been anthologized in the W.W. Norton New Micro: Exceptionally Short Fiction, Macmillan’s The Practice of Fiction, and the Best Small Fictions 2019. Her craft book, Going Short: An Invitation to Flash Fiction, is forthcoming from Ad Hoc Fiction in 2020. zack kopp

Zack Kopp is a freelance writer, editor, photographer, graphic artist, and literary agent currently living in Denver, Colorado. He holds an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and is the author of four novels, a short story collection, a book of poetry, a collection of subconscious fiction, and a collection of articles, essays, interviews, reviews and commentary. His informal history of the Beat Generation’s connections with Denver was published by The History Press in 2015. Seth

Writer, poet and performer SETH hosts the weekly Sunday night Jam before the Slam at the Mercury Café. He has been devising creative ways to perform poetry for more than 30 years. SETH is author of A Black Odyssey, a poetic memoir using Homer’s epic as a scaffold for is his own journey as a Black poet in contemporary America. A published short story writer, in a previous life SETH wrote and performed radio theater comedy, the training ground for his forthcoming satirical novel, The Perfect Stranger. http://wagingart.com/index.htm
