He was a semi-finalist in the 2017 Faulkner-Wisdom Novella Competition and honorable mention in the 45th New Millennium Writing Awards in the non-fiction category. Sara Comito is author of the poetry collection Bury Me in the Sky (Nixes Mate Books). She is a poetry editor for Bending Genres Journal. Her work has appeared in places like Pithead Chapel, Drunk Monkeys, Misfit Magazine, and The Night Heron Barks. Sara lives with her husband, John, in Fort Myers, Florida, where they grow up chickens, bees, and flowers. Ohio born and raised, Kerry Trautman is one of the founders of ToledoPoet.com and the “Toledo Poetry Museum” page on Facebook, which were created to help promote NW Ohio poetry events. She is a poetry editor for the online journal Red Fez, and she participates in poetry readings and events such as the Columbus Arts Festival and Back to Jack–Toledo’s nearly-annual Jack Kerouac reader’s theater. Her poetry and short fiction have appeared in various anthologies and journals such as Midwestern Gothic, Gasconade Review, Slippery Elm, The Coe Review,Mock Turtle Zine, and Free State Review. Kerry’s poetry books are Things That Come in Boxes, To Have Hoped, Artifacts, and To be Nonchalantly Alive.
